Great service. They are one of the few remaining stores in Montreal that do carry oil paints. The staff is knowledgeable plus is an independent store since the 1800's (yes that little store) anyway, I do recommend it.

Bad service! Was there waiting for fifteen minutes until I was informed that the store was now closed before closing time. Was witness to a messed up order so I may have dodge a bullet. Avoid

New apartment owners in Montreal, we wanted to use an independent paint store and support small businesses in our local area. We spent over $500 of paint at Peintures Cite and found most of the staff to be pleasant and helpful. That is until they sold us the wrong shade of paint. After this paint was put up over several hours in one of our rooms, we realised it was the same shade we had previously put up, but had been incorrectly labelled by Peintures Cite as the next shade up. My partner went back to Peintures to explain this, and instead of apologising an older man at the counter instead insisted it was our fault for not realising earlier and suggested we were trying to con him. Hostile, angry, rude and throwing out unhelpful comments like we're all tired" when my partner tried to explain what their mistake was costing us in terms of time and effort
